Pierre brings to the Gyra board his broad international banking experience. During nearly 40 years working for Swiss Bank Corporation, UBS, and Credit Suisse he held positions in Switzerland, the UK, and the US. His activities over the years in securities, corporate credit, commodity trade finance, and wealth management enabled him to acquire comprehensive banking knowledge, which he put to use to develop tailor-made solutions for his private, institutional, and corporate clients around the world.
Pierre finished his studies at the Ecole de Commerce Supérieure in Lausanne, Switzerland.
Jean is a wealth-management professional with broad international experience, spanning markets in Southern Europe, Asia, and the Middle East over a period of forty years. He is a senior banker and head of business development at Arab Bank (Switzerland) in Geneva and was formerly the bank's head of wealth management. Prior to that, he worked for UBS Wealth Management and UBS Private Banking, developing their clientele around the world. Jean began his career as a trainee with Bankers Trust Company in New York and Bahrain.
He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with honors from Oklahoma State University and a Master of Business Administration in Finance, Accounting, and Marketing from the University of Chicago.
Ayka brings to Gyra his twenty-five years of Swiss banking, most recently as partner and executive vice-president wealth-management service to high-net-worth clients. This followed seven years with UBS Geneva as executive director in charge of a key client group (assets per client upwards of CHF 50 million). Prior to that, he held management positions in corporate banking, institutional marketing, and trade finance at Banque de Commerce et de Placement and before that, at Finansbank, also in Geneva.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a finance concentration from Colorado State University.
Christina is the Board's authority on compliance and risk management. As managing partner of Adresse Unique Sarl in Geneva, she has been providing regulatory advice, services, and training to assets managers for the past eight years. Prior to that, she was a member of senior management and secretary-general of EIM, an international financial group specialised in alternative and long-only asset management.
She holds a Master’s degree in Economics with specialisation in Political Economy from the University of Geneva.
